27/4/2023 - Domain names for HengPangKiat registered (.com, .org, .asia, .net) and web hosting site established 26/7/2023 - Landing page launched 27/7/2023 - Added a php visitor counter (like the old www days), navigation bar and this project updates page 1/8/2023 - Added section "Who was Heng Pang Kiat?" on landing page 9/8/2023 - Started work on Emerald Hill and Timeline pages 10/8/2023 - Added photos of silk painting and Emerald Hill book cover, with additional info 11/8/2023 - Started work on Biography and Articles pages 13/8/2023 - Articles pages split into two separate pages - one for books, the other for newspaper articles. It's quite a deep rabbit hole... 17/8/2023 - Tidied up the section on "The Many Names of Heng Pang Kiat" under the Biography page. Started the sections on Businesses and Properties. 21/8/2023 - Started on some translation of the NUS article, worked out where 十三行 is (location where Heng Pang Kiat stayed when he first arrived in Singapore). Added Google map of Swatow 22/9/2023 - Translated more of the NUS article - completed about one-third of article. Added Google map of Canton Street
